Welcome To The Home Of It’s Not That Bad
It’s the show that does its best to defend the unfairly maligned movies, to find the silver linings in the films deemed “less than great”. Every week, host Jason Whissell is joined by a guest to discuss a movie that has been poorly rated by the critics or by the fans. We do our very best to find good things to say about them, and to show those flicks in a light that you may have not noticed before. We are also always happy to hear what movies you think should be covered, as well as what you thought of the movies themselves. We’ll be posting blogs on here as well as keep you updated as to what to expect in the coming months.

Ep. 217 – Very Bad Things

They say to never judge a book by its cover, or a movie by its title. With that in mind, we’re here to rewatch this poor attempt at a Vegas tourism video and prove to you that Very Bad Things is not what the title says, but is in fact not that bad.

Ep. 216 – Spaceballs

There are many things in this life that are unjust, unfair and simply, completely wrong. But not since someone thought that pineapple on pizza might be something worth trying has something been so utterly incorrect. We stand before you today to right that wrong, to call out the BS and prove beyond a shadow of a doubt that Spaceballs is not that bad.

Ep. 215 – Mars Attacks

In 1996, a movie hit theatres that posed the question, “what if an alien species invaded Earth with the sole purpose of total annihilation”. It delved into everything from alien autopsies, cities being leveled and average citizens rising up and overcoming the odds to find an Earth-borne solution to stopping the attack. There was also Independence Day. But this week, we go to that very same well to see if Mars Attacks is not that bad.

Keep Watch Pass – Movies Starring The Kids Of Stranger Things

We absolutely promise no spoilers in this episode. What we do promise is to take the filmographies of the kids of Stranger Things in search of our Keep, Watch and Pass picks. Are we picking the obvious choices, are are we turning this upside down?

Ep. 214 – Man-Thing

It is a work of cinematic genius. A superhero film that both defines and defies the genre. Its very presence changes everything you ever thought you knew about live action Marvel films and puts every other title to shame. And, if you believe that, I have some swamp land in Australia to sell you. I’m also here to see if Man-Thing is not that bad.

Ep. 213 – Kraven The Hunter

Have you ever lent someone something and when they return it, it’s not in the condition you lent it to them? Feels a little like the Spider-verse, and Sony didn’t play nicely with Marvel’s toys. Well, drink some lion blood for the last kicking of the Spidey-can as we look to see if Kraven The Hunter is not that bad.
