Welcome To The Home Of It’s Not That Bad
It’s the show that does its best to defend the unfairly maligned movies, to find the silver linings in the films deemed “less than great”. Every week, host Jason Whissell is joined by a guest to discuss a movie that has been poorly rated by the critics or by the fans. We do our very best to find good things to say about them, and to show those flicks in a light that you may have not noticed before. We are also always happy to hear what movies you think should be covered, as well as what you thought of the movies themselves. We’ll be posting blogs on here as well as keep you updated as to what to expect in the coming months.

Ep. 151 – American Warships

Audiophiles around the world will speak endlessly about the perfection of analog. Just because it’s old doesn’t mean it can’t work just as well…at least, that’s what I keep telling myself. But, can you stop an extraterrestrial invading force with nothing more than some crank wheel motors, vacuum tubes and some naval machismo? Find out as we attempt to prove to you that American Warships is not that bad.

Ep. 150 – Abraham Lincoln vs. Zombies

Mocktober continues with another trip to The Asylum! If you’re like me, you probably got a lot of your history school notes from watching biographical movies instead of reading books. However, a word of warning to students today…you may not pass if you’re watching this film for historical accuracy. But, the look on the teacher’s face would be priceless. Nevertheless, we are here to say that Abraham Lincoln Vs. Zombies is not that bad.

Lyle Robichaud returns to make his picks from the soundtrack to the movie City Of Angels.
Below is the Spotify link to the soundtrack in its entirety. Have a listen and let us know in the comments below which songs would have made your list.

Keep Watch Pass – Family Friendly Monster Movies

Not all monsters are monstrous…at least, that’s what Hollywood would have use believe. Also, the 80’s definitely put the guidance in parental guidance. Now, listen in as we go through the decades to try to find our Keep, Watch and Pass picks from movies for the family with a little more teeth than they’re used to.

Ep. 149 – Transmorphers

Happy Mocktober! In this episode, we kick off a month-long celebration of mockbusters, so get ready for some B-movie madness!
In 2007, Michael Bay took 147 Million dollars and brought to the big screen a franchise that was more than meets the eye. Also in 2007, The Asylum took 0.2% of that budget and tried to do the same thing. To quote Sesame Street…one of these things is not like the other. Strap in as we kick off Mocktober and try to see if Transmorphers is not that bad.
