Welcome To The Home Of It’s Not That Bad
It’s the show that does its best to defend the unfairly maligned movies, to find the silver linings in the films deemed “less than great”. Every week, host Jason Whissell is joined by a guest to discuss a movie that has been poorly rated by the critics or by the fans. We do our very best to find good things to say about them, and to show those flicks in a light that you may have not noticed before. We are also always happy to hear what movies you think should be covered, as well as what you thought of the movies themselves. We’ll be posting blogs on here as well as keep you updated as to what to expect in the coming months.

Ep. 153 – Paranormal Entity

When it comes to horror films, found footage style movies can be suspenseful, gripping and captivating. However, the definition of “found footage” doesn’t include finding a successful film and trying to mimic that. But there’s only one way to cap off both Mocktober and spooky season…by trying to prove that Paranormal Entity is not that bad. Special guest: Carson Elcome.

Ep. 152 – Cocaine Shark

In 2016, Baby Shark was released, tormenting the world like an earworm working its way to your brain stem and chewing away parts of it until there’s nothing left of you but a drooling vegetable of a human. Fun, right? Well, we may have found something even worse than that. Strap in and pry open your eye holes as we attempt to see if Cocaine Shark is not that bad.

Spin Shuffle Skip – Watchmen Soundtrack

One of the greatest superhero films to ever hit the silver screen also spawned one of the most story-centric soundtracks to accompany the images that made the movie. This week, Lyle Robichaud from AM640 Toronto returns to deep dive one of Zach Snyder’s best films and definitely one of his best soundtracks, Watchmen.

Keep Watch Pass – What’s Old Is New

They say that nothing is sacred in Hollywood. Stories never grow old and no IP ever really dies. Now, we take a look back at times when La la Land dipped into the well of past creativity to bring back to life what once was big.
