Welcome To The Home Of It’s Not That Bad
It’s the show that does its best to defend the unfairly maligned movies, to find the silver linings in the films deemed “less than great”. Every week, host Jason Whissell is joined by a guest to discuss a movie that has been poorly rated by the critics or by the fans. We do our very best to find good things to say about them, and to show those flicks in a light that you may have not noticed before. We are also always happy to hear what movies you think should be covered, as well as what you thought of the movies themselves. We’ll be posting blogs on here as well as keep you updated as to what to expect in the coming months.

Ep. 186 – Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No

In 2013, one film showed us that it’s okay to be really good at being really bad. People will sing your praises and glorify your goofiness. It’s okay to not be okay…until, of course, you turn jumping the shark into an Olympic sport. Grab a chainsaw and machine gun, it’s time to begin a 4 week journey into the hellscape as we attempt to prove that Sharknado 3: Oh Hell No is not that bad.

There Can Only Be One – Rush

It’s Canada Day, and what better way to celebrate than to talk about one of the only bands from Canada where you only need to hear the members’ first names…Geddy, Alex and Neil. Sean Faust returns to the show to go through the 20 album studio discography of one of the most iconic groups to ever come from the Great White North.
Below, you’ll see the lists made by both Sean and myself. Have a listen, deep dive the discs and let us know what songs would have made your list.
As mentioned in the show, and whether you’re ready for it or not…below is the link to Leonard Nimoy’s The Legend Of Bilbo Baggins. You’re welcome…and we’re sorry.

Ep. 185 – Three Amigos

Take 3 of the funniest sketch com actors of the 70’s and 80’s, throw in one of the biggest directors of the 80’s and top it off with the producer of the most important property of television comedy. If we’ve learned anything during our time on this show, it’s that 1+1+1 doesn’t always equal success. We’re also not that good at math. What we are good at though is finding out if Three Amigos is not that bad.

Keep Watch Pass – Casting A Modern Day 3 Amigos

There is no question that 3 Amigos is a bona fide, underrated 80’s comedy classic. This means it’s probably only a matter of time until Hollywood does a remake. With that, we put a spin on our usual KWP game and cast what a modern iteration of that cast would look like.

Ep. 184 – Mega Python vs Gatoroid

If you haven’t been paying attention for the last 4 years, we wear our love of “bad” movies on our sleeve. We revel in that which the critics deem inferior. So, when the good people at The Asylum serve up the singer-songwriter smackdown of the century, what more can we say? I know we’re not alone now, because this electrically youthful podcast is about to prove that Mega Python vs. Gatoroid is not that bad.

Keep Watch Pass – Shakespearean Adaptations

Whether they be faithful retellings, modernized homages or in the category of “loosely based on”, the silver screen has consistently been a home for the works of William Shakespeare. This week, which tales from The Bard make our list?
